Marathon to close lanes on 520 span, roads
The two eastbound lanes of the Evergreen Point floating bridge will close from 6:45 a.m. until 9 a.m. today, and several University District and Eastside roads will be affected for the Virginia Mason Team Medicine Seafair Marathon and related events.
The two eastbound lanes of the Evergreen Point floating bridge will close from 6:45 a.m. until 9 a.m. today, and several University District and Eastside roads will be affected for the Virginia Mason Team Medicine Seafair Marathon and related events.
The events, which begin at 7 a.m. near Husky Stadium, unofficially kick off Seafair and are the first races to cross the 520 bridge since 1984, according to a spokesman. Other roads will be closed at various times between 6:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. along the route.
