The two eastbound lanes of the Evergreen Point floating bridge will close from 6:45 a.m. until 9 a.m. today, and several University District and Eastside roads will be affected for the Virginia Mason Team Medicine Seafair Marathon and related events.

The events, which begin at 7 a.m. near Husky Stadium, unofficially kick off Seafair and are the first races to cross the 520 bridge since 1984, according to a spokesman. Other roads will be closed at various times between 6:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. along the route.
