Wildfire near Quincy WA burns wheat, brush

A wildfire about five miles west of Quincy, Wash., has burned more than 3,000 acres of wheat and scrub brush. But Grant County Fire District 3 Chief Don Fortier says no structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.

A wildfire about five miles west of Quincy, Wash., has burned more than 3,000 acres of wheat and scrub brush. But Grant County Fire District 3 Chief Don Fortier says no structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.

State fire crews were mobilized to help local firefighters gain control of the blaze Monday.
