Man who fell into surf near Ilwaco WA dies
The Coast Guard says a man who fell from a cliff into the surf near Ilwaco, Wash., has died.

The Coast Guard says the Pacific County (Wash.) 911 Center contacted the Coast Guard at 9:35 a.m. on Thursday to report that a man had fallen into the water near the North Head Lighthouse.
The Coast Guard says a HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter was launched from Air Station Astoria, Ore., at 9:40 a.m. to search for the man and hoisted him from the water at 10 a.m. The Coast Guard says the man was taken to Air Station Astoria, where he was declared dead by a Coast Guard flight surgeon 14 minutes later.
