Diver disappears near Deception Pass
The Coast Guard is searching for a 19 year-old woman who was diving off Rosario Beach near Deception Pass today.
The woman, who is a student, was diving with a partner when she "went down and never surfaced," a Coast Guard official said. The partner was not injured.
They had no further information about the missing woman. The Coast Guard is using a boat and a helicopter in the ongoing search. Navy and local fire and rescue boats are also involved.
