Reservations recommended on Port Townsend-Keystone run

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. —

A new reservation system is in effect on the Port Townsend-Keystone ferry route.

Sailing times for Memorial Day weekend are filling up fast.

Since the two Steel Electric class ferries were taken out of service last November, the route is served by one 50-car boat.

Passengers can make reservations at the terminals, by phone (888-808-7977 or 206-464-6400) or online at http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries.
