Car found in Lake Washington
Seattle police are looking into how a 1995 Lexus ended up in Lake Washington.
Police spokesman Mark Jamieson said a witness called 911 around 8 a.m. today to report the unoccupied car about 50 yards from the shore, beneath Interstate 90 and north of Colman Park.
Seattle firefighters, the Coast Guard and Seattle police harbor patrol officers responded. The vehicle has since been removed from the water.
"It was not reported stolen, we don't know how it ended up in the water,"Jamieson said. "Whoever put it in the lake presumably got out.
