2 women wounded in Seattle drive-by shooting
Two women have been wounded in a drive-by shooting in south Seattle.
A police spokeswoman, Renee Witt, says three suspects were taken into custody in the shooting about 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officers who were in the neighborhood because of a disturbance call heard the gunfire, stopped a car, arrested three people and found a handgun.
The women were reportedly standing outside a house when they were hit by shots fired from the passing car.
Both have been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. One is wounded in the foot and the other is in more serious condition with leg and chest wounds.
