PORT ORCHARD — A man who shot himself with a concrete nail gun after being stopped by a state trooper near Silverdale is out of the hospital and under arrest.
According to a State Patrol news release, 23-year-old Lance Earl Dillon of Bremerton planned to get his car out of an impound lot once he was released from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Instead, he was arrested Friday on old warrants and for investigation of impaired driving, hit-and-run and possession of methamphetamine.
As of midday today he remained in jail with bail set at $20,000.
