Driver killed in Everett semi-truck collision
Two semi-trucks collided at an Everett intersection and one driver was ejected and killed.
Police say officers found the body on the roadway when they responded at 4:15 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Highway 526 and Everett mall Way.
The other driver was checked at a hospital but was not injured.
Police say it appears one of the trucks ran a red light at the intersection. The impact dislodged the truck door for the driver who was ejected.
The crash investigation closed Everett Mall Way for nearly six hours.
