More time for death penalty decision in Carnation killings

King County prosecutors will have until Aug. 4 to decide whether to seek the death penalty against a man and woman accused of killing six members of her family on Christmas Eve in Carnation.

Lawyers for Joseph McEnroe and Michele Anderson asked for more time to prepare information for prosecutors to consider before they take the case to trial.

The two are charged with aggravated murder in the shooting of Anderson's parents, brother, sister-in-law and their two children in a family dispute over money.
