Cathay Pacific pilot fired for buzzing Paine Field
A Cathay Pacific Airways pilot has reportedly been fired for buzzing Paine Field after taking delivery of a a new Boeing 777.
Newspapers in Hong Kong and London say the plane with about 50 people on board flew over the Everett runway Jan. 30 at a height of about 30 feet and a speed of more than 300 mph.
The pilot did not follow the process for fly-bys.
