Woman stabbed in Pioneer Square Thursday night

Police arrested a 51-year-old man Thursday night for allegedly stabbing a woman at Second Avenue and Yesler Way in Pioneer Square.

Police arrested a 51-year-old man Thursday night in connection with the stabbing of a woman at Second Avenue and Yesler Way in Pioneer Square, authorities said.

The man was taken into custody and booked for investigation of assault after police found him on a bus 150 yards from where the incident occurred.

The 42-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital, where her injuries were reported as not life-threatening, police said.
