It was a model moment for Gabbi Gershowitz.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gershowitz lived her dream of being a fashion diva. She was born with Goldenhar syndrome, a birth defect that involves facial deformities.

It started at Hotel 1000 in downtown Seattle, where Gershowitz and her mom, Helene, spent the night. And it went straight to her head — a Gene Juarez stylist cut the 14-year-old's light-brown hair and foiled it strawberry blond.

"Of course she wanted burgundy, but I kind of pushed away from that," Helene Gershowitz said.

At Macy's, where her "fans" had gathered, Gershowitz took a spin in the makeup chair, posed in outfits for photographers and, as models often do, got to take home some of the clothes.

The limo's last stop was Kirkland's Northstar Junior High, where Gershowitz, an eighth-grader, debuted her new look at a Valentine's Day dance.

Work it, girl.
