A Seattle man was sent to the hospital early this morning after he was hit by a van downtown.
The 67-year-old pedestrian was taken to Harborview Medical Center after being struck at the intersection of South Main Street and Sixth Avenue South shortly before 7 a.m., said police spokeswoman Reneé Witt. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.
The driver of the white Ford van stayed at the scene, and was cited by officers, said Witt.
