A 44-year-old Seattle man on a motorcycle died in a collision with a dump truck this morning, according to Issaquah police.
The identity of the victim was not made public and the circumstances of the accident remain under investigation, said Cmdr. Stan Conrad.
The accident took place about 7:40 a.m. at East Lake Sammamish Parkway and 229th Avenue Southeast, just north of Interstate 90.
Traffic was reduced to one lane in each direction north and southbound on East Lake Sammamish Parkway, a main north-south route leading to the Sammamish Plateau.
