President Levy Mwanawasa of Zambia will speak at Kane Hall at the University of Washington Monday at 7 p.m. Mwanawasa has made anti-corruption and development the hallmarks of his administration. He will address trade and investment opportunities in Zambia, the role of trade in building the Zambian economy, and issues such as how Zambia is fighting poverty and the spread of HIV/AIDS. The talk is part of the World Affairs Council's Global Leadership series. Admission is free for council members with pre-registration, $15 for nonmembers, $5 for college students with ID and free for high-school students with pre-registration.
