The Summit at Snoqualmie ski resort has been sold to the owner of the Crystal Mountain ski area, according to a news release from The Summit's former owners.
Booth Creek Ski Holdings has agreed to sell its interests in The Summit and a New Hampshire ski resort to Boyne USA, a Michigan-based corporation. Boyne USA owns or operates ski and golf resorts in British Columbia, Montana, Utah and elsewhere, including Crystal Mountain.
The operation of The Summit resort will remain with The Summit management under a long-term lease agreement, according to the news release.
The sale is expected to close at the end of the month.
