A 56-year-old woman who was found dead in her Kent-area home Sunday morning was slain, the King County Medical Examiner's Office said today.

Deputies were responding to a silent alarm at Nancy Floren's home in the 20300 block of 102nd Avenue Southeast about 6 a.m. when they found the body, said King County sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart. Floren's husband, who was not at the home when deputies arrived, was questioned. No arrests have been made.

Urquhart said there were no signs of forced entry or indications that things had been stolen from the home.
