A King County toddler who fell from a window has died at Harborview Medical Center.

The 18-month-old boy was standing on furniture in his family's fourth-floor apartment, near Renton, when he fell about noon Wednesday, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

His mother was nearby but unable to grab him in time.

The child was identified by the King County Medical Examiner's office as Prasd Kuchibhotla.
