A Seattle man was arrested Friday in connection with the shooting death of a man whose body was found in Ravenna.
The body of a man in his late 40s or early 50s was found near the Ravenna Park footbridge at 6:35 a.m. Friday, said police spokesman Sean Whitcomb. The man apparently had been shot in the head, Whitcomb said.
He said investigators believed the shooting occurred overnight. The King County Medical Examiner's Office did not release the slain man's identity.
The person who found the body, near the park trail, called police via cellphone. The footbridge is near 20th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 55th Street.
