The Washington State Patrol reported the accident took place about 6:30 p.m. when an eastbound 2003 Mercedes driven by a Sammamish man crossed the centerline of Highway 202 at Southeast 47th Street and collided with a westbound 2002 Metro bus.

The Mercedes struck the driver's side of the bus, although the driver was not injured.

A 23-year-old Seattle woman who was a bus passenger was transported to Highline Community Hospital for treatment.

The three other passengers on the bus were uninjured.
