The Snohomish County sheriff's office reports a Lynnwood man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy.
The sheriff's office says the alleged assault happened on Sunday at the 31-year-old man's apartment in Lynnwood. The boy's mother reported the alleged assault to police.
Sheriff's detectives obtained a search warrant for the man's apartment and served it last night. The man was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on one count of second-degree rape of a child.
According to court documents, the man met the boy through a woman friend.
