Several overnight shelters have been set up around the Puget Sound area for people affected by power outages or storm damage. The Red Cross suggests people bring toiletries, including toothpaste, personal-hygiene items, medications, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, clothing, towels and washcloths. Bringing toys, stuffed animals and games will likely make the stay more pleasant for young children. Pets are not allowed at shelters. The list below includes some shelters set up by the Red Cross and some by cities.
