SHORELINE — A convenience store clerk who had been shot to death was found by a customer early this morning, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the 7-11 store in the 500 block of NE 165th Street in Shoreline just after 4 a.m. when a customer reported finding the clerk dead.

It appeared the victim had been sitting on a chair in front of the store when he was fatally shot, police said.

Police said investigators were interviewing people who live in the neighborhood and plan to look at the store's surveillance video for clues.
