Officers received a call Sunday at 11:19 a.m. about a suspicious vehicle parked in the 400 block of Northwest 100th Place, near Carkeek Park, said police spokesman Sean Whitcomb. Homicide and crime scene investigators were called to the scene and found an adult woman's body in the trunk of a silver Mercury Cougar. Police believe the car had been parked there for months. The man turned himself into officers at the department's North Precinct late Sunday night and was booked into King County Jail. The King County Medical Examiner this morning is expected to conduct an autopsy of the body. Copyright © 2006 The Seattle Times Company
