Two Bellevue men are dead following an altercation earlier this evening in the 16200 block of Southeast 7th Street.
Someone called 911 just before 6:30 p.m. to report a fight involving a firearm at the house where the two men lived, said Bellevue police spokesman Greg Grannis. When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old man fatally shot; medics rushed a 25-yeard-old man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but he later died from his wounds, Grannis said.
Officers interviewed two witnesses who were inside the house at the time of the shooting, he said. Homicide detectives are not looking for any suspects but are still trying to figure out if they are dealing with a murder-suicide or if the men shot each other, Grannis said.
"We're trying to piece together the sequence of events of who did what to who," he said.
Grannis said the men were roommates; he couldn't say how many guns were involved.
