Flag-retirement ceremony
Monday Boy Scouts of America Troop 330 will retire an American flag in honor of fallen heroes of 9/11. Parking lot of the Federal Way United Methodist Church, 29654 51st Ave. S., Auburn, 7:30 p.m., open to all, 206-202-9866.
"Without End" event
Monday Visual art, spoken word, music and public meditation will observe 9/11 and the 100th anniversary of the first nonviolence campaign launched by Mohandas K. Gandhi in 1906. Westlake Plaza Park, Fourth Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle, 5 p.m., open to all, 206-633-1086.
Interfaith commemoration
Monday St. Mark's Cathedral hosts "Moving Forward Together," a special service honoring the five-year anniversary of 9/11. 1245 10th Ave. E., Seattle, 7 p.m., open to all, 206-323-0300.
Seattle Fire Department ceremony
Monday Brief ceremony with a moment of silence and bell ringing. Event at Occidental Park in front of the Fallen Firefighters Statue in Seattle's Pioneer Square, 8 a.m., open to all, 206-386-1463.
