Tuesday, August 1, 2006 - Page updated at 02:42 PM A self-portraitIn profiles he posted on Web sites, Naveed Haq seems like just another guy looking for a girlfriend. Here are some of the answers attributed to him on Classmates.com and Friendster.com, two social-networking Web sites. The dates of the postings are unknown. About me: Exercising is a passion for me. I like to stay in shape and I like biking. Being opinionated is not me, but I lean on the liberal side. I don't do anything real crazy, like ice climbing or bungee jumping. That would require getting off land, which I don't like to do. Finally, I like cats, but currently I have no cats. Favorite books: After college, I decided not to read anymore. (In another profile, he lists "books" as an indoor hobby he enjoys.) Favorite movies: Meet the Parents, Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, Happy Gilmore, the Pink Panther movies. Favorite music: Just about anything except country and heavy metal. How do you feel about your life right now: I'm headed in the right direction. What do you do with your free time: Dine with friends, go to movies, have drinks with friends, listen to music, read, sports or strenuous activity, travel. Your friends would describe you as: Hard to figure out. Kind of car you drive: Pick-up truck. Your biggest pet peeve: Sitting in traffic.
If you won $100 million tomorrow, you would: Change very little about my life, just enjoy the money. Current relationship status: I plead the Fifth! Who I want to meet: A person who has a sense of humor and is easy going like myself. A woman of the world, but not a worldly woman. I'm not sure what that means. It just sounded good. Last but not least, people with felonies need not seek my company. Source: classmates.com; friendster.com Copyright © 2006 The Seattle Times Company
