13 indicted in Oregon in connection with acts of sabotage

The following 13 individuals have been indicted by a Eugene, Ore., grand jury for alleged involvement in at least part of a conspiracy to carry out 17 acts of sabotage in five states between 1996 and 2001.

In addition, they have been indicted for specific acts of arson and other crimes in Oregon.

Conviction on an arson count carries a minimum of five years, and a judge can approve multiple arson count convictions to be served concurrently. In addition, the charge of using a destructive device, such as a fire bomb, to carry out an arson carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years in federal prison, with a second conviction carrying the penalty of life without parole.

Some defendants have chose to cooperate, and may eventually strike a plea agreement.

Three of those indicted — Joseph Dibee, Rebecca Rubin and Josephine Overaker — have not been arrested and their whereabouts are unknown.

Daniel McGowan: Two conspiracy counts, at least 12 arson counts, two counts use of a destructive device, one count attempted arson

Suzanne Savoie: Two conspiracy counts, one arson count

Josephine Overaker: Two conspiracy counts, five arson counts, one count attempted arson, one count destruction of an energy facility

Sarah Kendall Harvey: Two conspiracy counts, one arson count, one count attempted arson

Rebecca Rubin: Two conspiracy counts, one arson count, one attempted arson count
