Monday, April 24, 2006 - Page updated at 05:14 PM School violence plot foiled in Piece CountySeattle Times staff A 16-year-old boy was arrested Sunday morning in connection with a plot to kill students at Rogers High School in Puyallup. Deputies learned of the shooting plan Saturday night, and when they searched the teen's house Sunday, they found two rifles, two handguns, ammunition and a homemade bomb, said Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer. Deputies believe the teen was working alone in a plan to kill at least 15 people before taking his own life, Troyer said. It's unclear when the teen planned to carry out the alleged plan. He was booked into jail on suspicion of assault and manufacture of an incendiary device. Copyright © 2006 The Seattle Times Company
