Profiles Gunman Victims
Multimedia Police Tuesday released an inventory of items taken from Kyle Huff's Seattle apartment during a search the day of the killings. They found six baggies of "green vegetable matter" — suspected marijuana, according to one police source — in the living room, as well as brochures for the Bushmaster .223-caliber assault-style rifle police found in Huff's truck, parked near the slayings, according to a search warrant filed in King County Superior Court. Two full 5-gallon cans of gasoline were found in the truck, the warrant says. Detectives took a .30-caliber hunting rifle from Huff's bedroom and two rifles from the bedroom of his twin brother and roommate, Kane Huff, the warrant says.
