But U.S. Bank branches will be open regular hours. • Most government offices will be closed. Also, public libraries and state-run liquor stores will be closed. Post offices will be closed, and there will be no home mail delivery. • Schools will be closed; Seattle public schools will be on midwinter break the rest of the week. • Shopping malls and most retailers will be open. So will most area attractions, including Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, Woodland Park Zoo, the Museum of Flight, Seattle Center and the Pacific Science Center. • Garbage pickup will be on regular schedule, and transfer stations will be open regular hours Monday. • State ferries will be running on regular weekday schedules, except for the Point Defiance/Tahlequah route, which is temporarily suspended for terminal maintenance. • Most Metro Transit buses will be on a Sunday schedule Monday. Sounder commuter rail and Tacoma Link light rail will be on regular weekday schedules (888-889-6368). Snohomish County's Community Transit will have regular local and Boeing commuter service, but some commuter routes will be on modified schedules and some will be suspended for the holiday (800-562-1375).
