Today's highlights

Polynesian dance: Transport yourself to a tropical isle via the music and dance of Polynesia. 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Bagley Wright Theatre.

The Big Jewish Show: The joy and celebration of klezmer and other styles of Jewish music will have you dancing on the lawn. 1:30-5:30 p.m., Broad Street Lawn.

Country-Western Show: Featuring some of the best Northwest country bands: Jo Miller & Her Burly Roughnecks, the Honky Tonk Revue, and Paul Anastasio and His Western Swing Bash. 6:30-9 p.m., Broad Street Lawn.

Horn of Africa Concert: One of the key events of the festival, featuring traditional and contemporary East African musicians and dancers, including Dinka Malual, a traditional music and dance troupe from Sudan; Tefono, a singer-musician from Eritrea who is a master of kirar, or East African lyre; Seble Solomon, an Afro-pop singer from Ethiopia now living in Seattle; and Ali Birra, an Afro-pop star billed as "the James Brown of East Africa." 7-10 p.m., McCaw Hall.

Brazilian Show: Pretend it's Carnivàle as you join the conga line at 7 p.m. at the International Fountain, from which it will go wending through the Center grounds to the Mural Amphitheatre, where the samba rhythms will continue past nightfall. 7:30-10 p.m., Mural Amphitheatre.
