Sunday, January 25, 2004 - Page updated at 09:46 A.M. A plan for Bob
Bob Miyamoto's goals × Feel less pressured. × Gain more energy. × Relax rather than rushing through everything, including things he enjoys. × Finish some nagging tasks at home and at work. What the life coach says Carolyn Fung says it is very common for people to feel that they are too invested in their current life or work to make major changes. It's not easy and it can take a lot of planning and mental shifts, but it is possible. The focus for Bob for the next three months is to help him get some things done so he doesn't feel so pressured by them. At the end of three months, Miyamoto should know himself better. The to-do list Fung's advice to Miyamoto: × Imagine saying no to some demands on his time, pretending there were no consequences.
× Hire a "virtual" assistant someone who works by Internet or phone to perhaps manage his e-mail. (www.assistu.com) × Make a list of 10 chores, duties, activities he would like to eliminate. Follow his progress For the next few months, we'll follow along as life coach Carolyn Fung helps Bob Miyamoto find a better balance between duty and free time.
