The following shops are just a few of many that were highly rated by Puget Sound Consumers' Checkbook and checkbook.org.
The partial list below consists of shops in King and Snohomish counties that received double checkmarks — the magazine's top rating — for both quality and price, and that received a minimum of 20 ratings in the magazine's customer survey.
These are just a few of the 474 shops rated by the magazine and Web site throughout King, Snohomish, Pierce, Kitsap and Skagit counties. And many other shops rated highly besides the few listed here.
The summer/fall edition of the magazine contains an extensive table with performance and pricing data for all 474 shops, as well as the types of cars they repair. You can apply your own judgments, and might even decide you prefer firms that didn't get checkmarks.
