Sanctuary Spa/Soul Ease detox rules for 28 days

Must include

Distilled, filtered or spring water

Organic fruits and vegetables

Organic lemons

Grains, including brown rice, quinoa, barley, millet, amaranth, buckwheat

Beans, including mung, garbanzo, black, pinto, navy, lentils

Herbal and green teas

Extra virgin olive oil and flax oil

Soy products, including miso, naturally fermented soy sauce, tofu

Unsalted raw nuts and seeds, and raw nut butters (but no peanut products)

Fresh herbs and spices

Must eliminate

Dairy products

White breads and other products made of white flour

Sugar (including evaporated cane juice, fructose, corn syrup, fruit juice concentrates, etc.)

Eggs

Shellfish

Grapefruit

Processed food

Beef and pork

Butter and other saturated fats

Hydrogenated oils

Coffee and black tea

Soda and artificially flavored juices (and sugarless gum!)

Alcohol

Cigarettes and drugs

Chocolate

Peanuts

(Some weeks involve eliminating poultry and fish as well.)
