MOHAI & Opera Guild Fashion Show Party — Featuring the fashions of St. John Boutique in an evening of music, wine and food, to raise funds for the youth-education programs of the Seattle Opera and MOHAI, 6:30 p.m. April 7; $75-$175 (206-324-1685, ext. 21 for advance tickets). Film: "I Married a Witch" — The 1942 romantic comedy by René Clair that served as the inspiration for the Jean Cocteau set "I Married a Witch" in "Théâtre de la Mode," 1 p.m. April 8; free with MOHAI admission. "Beyond the Care Label: Clothing and Textile Conservation Workshop" — Workshop on how to care for antique clothes, 1 p.m. May 13; $7, $5 MOHAI members. 1940s Fashion Tea — English tea with all the trimmings, accompanied by a fashion show of 1940s vintage designs from the Goodwill collection of antique clothes, 2 p.m. May 25; $20, $15 members. Communauté de la Mode — Contemporary fashion design by Washington state fashion students using ecologically responsible materials, June 2: fashion-show reception 5-7 p.m., program and awards in MOHAI's McEachern Auditorium at 7 p.m.; $20, $15 members, $10 students. Family Fashion Challenge — This family-friendly event is a competition to design the most interesting and innovative fashions you can imagine, 1 p.m. June 10; $7, $20 families, MOHAI members, $5, $17 for families.
