They play, you pay — and everyone stays dry

Indoor play parks are popular places where young visitors can enjoy toys, balls, tumbling mats, crawl-through tunnels and plastic cars in a warm, dry setting.

The drop-in play parks (also called tot times or toddler open gyms) are usually held in a community center gym. Some facilities have smaller parent-child play rooms with toys.

Play times are not supervised, and parents must stay with children unless otherwise noted. Most are open to children age 5 and under, unless otherwise noted. Cost ranges from free to $4 per child. Call individual locations for more information; hours may change and many close on holidays or during public-school breaks.

Seattle
