Informal groups

Bellevue/Eastside Moms Exercise Group

This offshoot of a larger mom support group meets once or twice a week, usually at Bellevue's Downtown Park, for stroller walks and exercise. $1 fee to cover monthly Web site charge. www.meetup.com

See Mommy Run

See Mommy Run is a free Internet service that helps moms find or start child-friendly running or walking groups. Moms can search by location, mileage, pace (walk to fast run) and meeting time. Groups meet in several local cities. www.seemommyrun.com

Puyallup training group

Walkers with strollers can meet up with others at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and 6 p.m. Thursdays at Bradley Lake shelter, 531 31st Ave. S.E., Puyallup. The events are promoted by Puyallup Parks and Recreation Department, but the free drop-in group is not led by a facilitator. 253-841-5457

Stroller Skate

Stroller Strides

The 50-minute classes include a power walk and body-toning exercises using stroller and baby. Classes take place on selected days at Magnuson and Woodland parks in Seattle; Issaquah Community Center and Central Park in Issaquah; Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood; and Pilchuck Park in Snohomish. $15 per class drop-in or less if purchased by month or as a block. Gracewinds Perinatal Services

Moms in the Zone, which meets 10:30 — 11:30 a.m. Fridays, is an indoor/outdoor (weather permitting) workout class for moms with babies. Call ahead to confirm.
