So the Mariners have now lost 10 of their past 11 games. They are 14-24 this season. They are eight games behind Los Angeles and Oakland in the AL West, and they should consider themselves fortunate to only be that far back. Both the Angels and A's could be ahead by even more, but mini-losing streaks have kept them from advancing their lead the past few days.
