'American Idol' Top 24: Aaron Kelly impresses with raw talent

Posted by Bob Payne

Next to take the stage is young Aaron Kelly. He forgot the words during the Hollywood round, but still got through. Let's see if he can handle the pressure. He's singing "Here Comes Goodbye," by Rascal Flatts. And he's doing a great job! I truly am having David Archuleta flashbacks, especially with the high note at the end (and that bodes well for Aaron).

Simon: "It was quite a good performance. But you have to take the control of the song."
Kara: "You have no idea how great your raw natural talent is. I think you did a great job."
Randy: "I'm a big fan, man - 16, what a voice."
Ellen: "You're going to be here a long time. Good job."

What did you think of his performance?
