UW regains sole possession of Pac-12 lead
Washington is alone at the top of the Pac-12 following California's 70-57 defeat at Colorado on Sunday.
If the Huskies knock off USC, which is last in the conference with a 1-15 record, on Thursday at the Galen Center then they'll clinch at least a share of the conference crown.
Washington can win the title outright if they capture two victories next week in Los Angeles. UW won its only outright conference crown in 2009 with a 14-4 record.
Since the start of the conference in the 1968-69 season, the Huskies have won three regular-season titles. They shared the crown in 1984 and '85.
Here's a look at the teams still contending for a conference championship and the games remaining.
Washington ............. 13-3 (20-8) ..... USC and UCLA
California ................. 13-4 (23-7) ..... Stanford
Arizona .................... 12-5 (21-9) ..... Arizona State
Colorado ................. 11-5 (19-9) ..... Oregon and Oregon State
Oregon ................... 10-5 (19-8) ..... Oregon State, Colorado and Utah
