As for Thursday's game, justosu is the bigger winner after predicting Oregon would topple the Huskies 77-75. The final score was 82-57. Wonder who justosu will pick today?

Only a couple of games so let's get to it.

AND THE UW-OSU WINNER IS ...

The Huskies 78-72.

It's gut-check time for Washington. Every game from here on out is critical. The Huskies are playing for a Pac-12 title while Oregon State has fallen into the role of spoiler once again.

Both teams are coming off of disappointing losses and confidence is low. Coach Craig Robinson has been critical of his team lately and says they need to find a vocal leader to take charge.

The same might said of the Huskies. Senior co-captain Darnell Gant is in the best position to seize control in the locker room, but on the court Washington is led by guards Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten Jr. They've got to play well in tandem down the stretch.

Wroten destroyed Oregon State in the first meeting and you got to believe the Beavers will have a better plan today. Still, the Huskies should be able to take advantage of 5-9 guard Ahmad Starks. He had great difficulty stopping Wroten and Abdul Gaddy.

Washington and Gaddy put the handcuffs on Pac-12 scoring leader Jared Cunningham the last time and will need a similar effort today. The Huskies must also find a way to slow down Joe Burton (18 points and seven rebounds) and Angus Brandt (16 points) who had big nights in the first meeting.

Oregon State lost 83-73 at home on Thursday to Washington State. The Cougars used a small lineup and held Burton and Brandt to five points. Essentially, WSU let Cunningham (33 points) score and shut down everyone else.

Washington and OSU matchups up well. Both teams are long, athletic and like to finish in transition. The Beavers employ a 1-3-1 zone, but the Huskies have had success against zones. They struggled Thursday against Oregon's zone, but torched Arizona State's zone weeks ago.

Washington beat OSU 95-80 in the first game, but the game was much closer than the score indicates. The Beavers trailed 83-80 in the final three minutes before UW closed with a 12-0 run.
