Milwaukee restaurant creates burger for Jon Brockman

Posted by Percy Allen

That's a cheeseburger (above). And not just any cheeseburger, it's the Brockness Monster. And yes, that's two strips of bacon poking out of the bun. That thing looks like it will stop your heart, but it's not stopping the brave patrons at AJ Bombers in Milwaukee from tackling the monster. Good luck.

The burger was created for former Washington standout Jon Brockman (below), who was traded to the Bucks in the offseason.

This isn't a sandwich for salad eaters. It's a double burger topped with two fried eggs, four strips of bacon (not including the bacon antlers), three slices of cheese and peanut butter. Yes, peanut butter.

It's amazing, the guy has a burger in Milwaukee and he hasn't played one game for the Bucks. But then, that's Brockman.

He's donate $10 to Special Olympics Wisconsin for every one of his signature burgers sold over the next week.

That too is Brockman. Looks like the big man is loving his burger.

FRIDAY LINKS:

--- No link, but according to a story on Scout.com's pay site, Washington is interested in a Daouda Soumaoro, a 6-foot-10, 220-pound power forward/center from New York. Other schools reportedly showing interest include: Virginia Tech, Rutgers, VCU, Vanderbilt, Colorado, St. John's, Arizona State, Albany, Northeastern, Fairfield, and Siena.

--- Deseret News columnist Brad Rock writes Utah - and not Colorado - is the true prize in Pac-10's expansion to 12 teams.
