He's back ...

Posted by Percy Allen

It's time for everybody favorite game: Bracketology.

ESPN.com NCAA bracket guru Joe Lunardi has Washington as the No. 3 seed in the West Region in Spokane.

He has California as the fourth seed in the East region and UCLA is a sixth seed in the South Region. Say what you will about the Bruins. Maybe it's a little high. Maybe it's not high enough.

But Lunardi has some folks scratching their heads when he predicts Arizona State as a No. 13 seed in the South region.

Didn't see that one coming. In fact, the Sun Devils are probably surprised by this pick because they're not expected to be very competitive this season. The Pac-10 writers picked ASU to finish seventh.

Personally, I don't think the Sun Devils will make a tournament this season. Not the NCAA tournament or the NIT or CBI. I just don't see it. Not this season.

But what do I know? I'm a newbie and Lunardi has been at this for years.
