Monday night links

Not a lot going on over the President's Day Holiday, but here are a few links to start off the new work week. ...

--- The big football story of the coming week will be the NFL Combine, which starts Thursday, though with some players arriving on Wednesday and news likely beginning that day. Here's a full schedule from NFL.com while NFLGridirongab.com asks five key questions and also details the NFL Network schedule.

--- Four Huskies will participate in the combine --- Chris Polk, Jermaine Kearse, Alameda Ta'amu and Senio Kelemete (here's a list of all participants). NFL.com lists Polk among the players with medical concerns while a Houston Texans blog wonders if that team might want to draft Ta'amu.

--- Rivals.com has an inevitable mention of Tosh Lupoi in a story about the big money being doled out to assistants known for being good recruiters.

--- SI.com with its always-interesting All-Two-Star team.

--- The Arizona Republic examines Larry Scott's attempts to burnish the Pac-12's image.

--- Oregon State CB Sean Martin has been suspended indefinitely after a recent arrest for DUI.

--- San Diego State, UW's first opponent in 2012, opens spring ball tomorrow (all teams get the same number of practices, 15, regardless of when they start). UTSanDiego.com looks at some of the key issues facing the Aztecs, who are rebuilding in a number of key spots (including QB, where former Oregon State starter Ryan Katz is likely to take over) while the North County Times also has a preview.

All for now.
