A few late-night notes --- Cox gets a new job, UW QB class lauded and more

Sorry for the inactivity today, but had some other assignments to handle. But here a few links. ...

--- Mike Cox, who was UW's linebackers coach the past three years before being fired in December, has been hired to fill the same spot at Kansas State. That means two of the the dismissed UW coaches have found jobs --- Cox and Jeff Mills, who was earlier hired as defensive backs coach at New Mexico. No word yet on a new stop for Nick Holt. His son, though, was officially announced as now on the roster at Montana on signing day.

--- A Sporting News mock draft has Alameda Ta'amu going No. 6 overall. I'm sure a lot of UW fans might raise an eyebrow or two that one, but it also speaks to the potential a lot of people see in Ta'amu.

--- The National Football Post rated UW as signing the top class of quarterbacks.

--- Stadium renovation devotees will want to check out the HuskyStadium.com web cams, which now has six different views of what's going on.

--- ESPN.com's Ted Miller reviews how the Pac-12 might have been impacted had they had four-team playoffs the last decade, with an enticing matchup for the 2000 Huskies.

--- The NCAA is proposing some changes to kickoffs for safety reasons.
