2010 Husky Football iPhone app launches
Posted by By Seattle Times Staff
We've launched a new app for the iPhone and iPod Touch to kick off the 2010 Husky football season. It's our first full-featured mobile application, and we're excited to give you a new platform for engaging with our UW and Pac-10 content. Here are a few key features:

"Just Jake":
All eyes are on Washington's star quarterback Jake Locker — including ours. There's a page on the app dedicated to him, with a biography and stats, so you can keep track of how he's shaping up against other Heisman Trophy candidates.
Dawg sounds:
Huskies fans like to make noise, so sound bites were a must. When you shake your phone, audio of a dog — a Husky, of course — barking or the "Touchdown, Huskies!" siren will play.
What about Bob?:
A UW football app wouldn't be a UW football app without real-time updates from our No. 1 Huskies reporter, Bob Condotta. You'll see the latest insider information from his blog and Twitter feed. It's a great way to keep up with his live threads on game day.
We hope you enjoy it. Go, Dawgs!
