UW-Oregon State game set for 12:30 p.m. on FSN-NW
Posted by Bob Condotta
What was rumored last night has become official today as the Oregon State game on Nov. 14 will have a 12:30 p.m. kickoff and will be televised live on FSN-Northwest.
That will keep UW's streak of live TV appearances alive --- every game has been on live TV since the 2006 home loss to Stanford, a stretch of 36 in a row.
And that will almost certainly stretch to 38 by the end of the year as it's almost a certainty that the Apple Cup will be on live TV (probably at 3:30 p.m. on FSN though nothing official on that yet). And the Cal game on Dec. 5 has already been picked up by FSN-NW. That game will also start at 3:30 p.m.
As mentioned last night, UW officials wanted a 12:30 p.m. start so they can get out of there via bus before running into any traffic from Oregon's home game that day against ASU, which will start at either 4 or 7:20 p.m.
And as a reminder on this week's TV situation, the UCLA game will be live in the Northwest on FSN except in Oregon (which is showing the Duck game). It will also air on Prime Ticket in California and on FCS-Central nationwide.
