Washington guard Isaiah Thomas suffered a concussion last Saturday, which forced him to miss two days of practice this week.
A school spokesman said he's fully recovered and Thomas is expected to start today when No. 24 Washington (6-2) hosts Portland (6-3) at Edmundson Pavilion.
"He would not be cleared if he wasn't ready to go," coach Lorenzo Romar said.
Thomas missed practice Monday and Tuesday. He practiced Thursday and Friday.
It's unclear when the injury occurred, but Thomas is believed to have suffered it in the second half of the 74-66 defeat against No. 11 Georgetown when he collided with Hoyas forward Julian Vaughn.
Thomas didn't leave the game because of the injury. He played a team-high 31 minutes and finished with 21 points on 9-for-18 shooting, with five rebounds and five turnovers.
Thomas didn't complain of injury when he spoke briefly with the media after the game and Romar didn't address it during his weekly news conference Tuesday.
Thomas, a sophomore, has started 41 consecutive games for Washington and has never missed a game because of injury.
